I love listening to people’s stories and observing how they work.
I am a user experience designer and researcher with a background in health informatics and psychology. Most recently, I was a designer at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto, where I thoughtfully transformed the way clinicians work through collaboratively designed digital products. Previously, I was a Human Factors intern at Healthcare Human Factors and Centre for Global eHealth Innovation.
In my career, I have worked with back- and front-end developers, business analysts, graphic designers, UX designers, human factors engineers, clinical researchers, quality assurance testers, project managers, physicians, nurses, pharmacists…to name a few.
I'm passionate about...
Problem solving involving strategy thinking and research
Creating thoughtful and lasting experiences through a deep understanding of context and persuasive copywriting and visuals
Increasing access to public health and public resources
Tools of the trade
Axure RP, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, pen and paper 📝, Sketch, HTML/CSS
When I'm not working...
I love rock climbing, cooking and drawing. I also like to get involved with local design and technology initiatives. I have been volunteering with the Ontario Alliance of Climbers to promote positive outdoors stewardship among rock climbers in Ontario. In 2018, I was a Side x Side Collective as a mentee, developing my career goals and supporting other women, agender and non-binary designers as they move forward in their careers too. Currently, I am a student in the part-time Bridge School for Product Designers, where I am levelling up my design skills and creative confidence.
